Position Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse including handling shipments, unloading trucks, general receiving, frozen food and sample management.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities 
Job Duty
• Receive and verify accuracy of shipments
• Evaluate quality of products received and note/report damage and discrepancies
• Unload trucks and route products to appropriate storage place
• Maintain and monitor warehouse inventory levels to ensure adequate supply
• Inventory existing warehouse products and note/report damage or deterioration
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, distributors and other personnel on product shipments and inventory needs
• Prepare and pack samples according to work or sample order using proper food safety and preparation techniques
• Submit sample orders based on client guidelines into client, distributor and internal systems for processing, as needed
• Other duties, responsibilities and activities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required) High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
(Preferred) Associate's Degree Or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Administration

0-2 Years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of SharePoint
• Ability to effectively communicate over the phone and through email
• Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build effective working relationships

Office / Non-Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time. Field / Reps Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential. Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
